After I finished the leg sections today, it was time to start welding the whole table base together. Cutting the 233″ long side rails was a challenge in my shop, but it worked all out nicely! Here are some pictures of this beast of a table base on my welding table. My 5′ x 10′ welding table looks small! Enjoy the pictures!

Cutting the side rails to 233″ length took some time! -
Checking with a magnetic level that everything is set up right befor cutting. -
Starting with the outside leg frame and clamping the side rails to fit on my welding table. -
Setting up for welding on one of the center leg sections, making sure all is square and solid before welding. -

Sliding the table base back and forth was easy, because I was able to use my rolling pipe stands. -
Welding some support rails into the top of the frame. -
