The best new business always comes through a referral, because someone has been very happy with the finished product they received, and felt comfortable to make a recommendation to a friend. And so it was the case with this project! I received an email last Wednesday with the request for a LED backlit sign for an accounting firm in Prior Lake, and within a day all the details were finalized. Here are some pictures to show the process of making this sign.

Here is the front plate after plasma cutting. -

After cutting the parts of the back frame, I used my welding square to weld the corners. -
Welding the frame to the back of the front plate. -
I clamped on some angles to keep the frame rails straight during welding. -
To weld the little spacers for the backplate, I clamped the sign to my vertical risers. -

I painted the backplate white to increase the reflective value of the surface. -
