After having completed the fender rack and backrest, I was able to get back to my end table project the last two days. My client had a new idea in regards how to hold the solid walnut blocks in place, and I was able to respond with a solution. I messaged him the pictures, and it’s exactly how he wanted it. Here are some more pictures of the project.

After a phone call with Ken, and some CAD layout, I was able to cut a trial piece on my plasma table. -
Bending the vertical spacers on my welding table. -
This support piece will be welded under the frame and will hold the outside walnut blocks at the correct height. -

I just have it tackwelded in a few spots to test it. The blocks fit very nicely! -

Tomorrow I will have to make it work for the center blocks, and then fabricate the remaining parts and weld them in place.
