I’m finally back working on the stage for the LYM event space. It’s been a very hectic and stressfull two and a half weeks to get the tradeshow display done in time. Here are some pictures of what I’m doing on the stage frames right now!
Getting the two frames back to the front of the shop to continue to work on the stage.
I cut a lot of these tabs and rounded two corners of each to get ready to weld them to the bottom edge of the stage frames. These tabs will hold the LED channel in place to illuminate the stage floor.
Hanging and clamping the frame to the forks on my lift allows me to move the frame up and down to a comfortable height for welding.
Small magnets hold the tabs in place for tack welding.
Welding and grinding all day long!
A view of the tabs from the top of the stage frame.
Working on the other frame with the curve.
I cut those curved pieces on my CNC plasma table, and they fit nicely!
