After fabricating the last component to mount the track for the rolling ladder to the wall, I started to work on the actual track. It is made from 3″ x 3″ steel angle, with 3/16″ wall thickness. The total length is approximately 55.5′. The steel angle comes in 20′ lengths, but because of the location of the display wall brackets and windows, I have to create 3 joints within this length. Here are some pictures of the work on the track!
The last wall bracket.
Starting to drill the holes for the wall brackets into the track.
Some of the pieces are very long, and my adjustable pipe stands come in handy to deal with the length and weight.

All the holes are drilled,
I fabricated two stops and some joint plates,
I found some large rubber stops at ACE Hardware. After drilling a center hole, I recessed the area for the washer and bolt head with a die grinder.
