I had the opportunity to fabricate these custom table bases out of steel. It was a fun project!
After I had all the materials delivered, I started cutting pieces to length.
I got some 1/2″ flat bar to cut the braces for the table bases.
After cutting and easing the edges.
Every piece needed is cut and ready to go.
Drilling all the holes!
Drilling the holes for welding nuts.
A little TIG welding action!
One of the levelers in place.
Tack welding the ends on to the base tubes.
Finish welding the end caps.
Welding the top bars together.
Starting to weld the top bars to the vertical pieces.
Here is the base tube tack welded in place.
