Today I was able to complete the workbench base for my friend Ken. It was picked up and delivered, and I had a chance to visit with Ken at his shop to get the complete workbench leveled in place. Another completed project, and a happy client to boot! It can’t get better then that! Here are the pictures!

After cutting some 1/2″ plate for the leveling feet, and some drilling and tapping, I was able to weld the threaded rods to the feet. -
All welded. -
I prepped the flange nuts and plates prior to TIG welding. -
I didn’t need any filler rod and fused the flange to the plate all the way around. -

At Ken’s shop, the base is leveled, with the MDF top in place, and the clamp storage rail already put to good use. All that’s missing are the shelves and bench dogs! Ken is ready to start assembling his next woodworking project! 🙂
