Here are a few pictures of what I have done to complete this little bench. I added a shoe shelf and a few details to the seat before finishing it. I also made a plate for a seat cushion, which will go to Garner’s Upholstery to work their magic. Enjoy!
Welding the parts of the shoe shelf. Here is the shelf, supported by some 4″ tubing and some spacers for the correct height, before welding. I added these decorative pieces to the skirts of the bench seat to add a little something! A closeup of the center. The detail on the side skirts. Then I finished the whole bench with some flat black and clear spray paint. Different views! Another one. Another one. Drilling the holes to bolt the upholstery plate to the bench.
