Dale, a goof friend of mine, is very involved in the youth programm of his church. He stopped by at the shop on Wednesday to see if I could help him with a little project. I was more than happy to do so! He will add stands and lighting to the signs to complete them. Here are the pictures to show the process!

After some layout everything needed fit on a 4′ by 8′ sheet, and I was able to start cutting. -
Here is a closeup of the front piece of the sign. -
After cutting some 2″ flat bar, I was able to roll the rings. -
First cut of the joint. -
After tack welding the ring oround the plate, I marked the second cut of the joint. -
After cutting, and it did fit nicely! -
I welded some bolts to the inside of the ring to be able to fasten the back plate. The additional nut gave me more surface for welding. -
Everything is finish welded. -
Back plate bolted in place. -
Here are the two signs finished and ready to go! -
