My friend Ken brought two unique slabs of burl to my shop to fabricate a custom coffee table base for his home in Florida. He shared his vision and ideas for this piece with a drawing of one of the legs. He also had the layout for the support frame laid out with blue tape on the backside of the slabs. It was a great way to get started! Here are some pictures!

After taking Ken’s information into CAD, I was able to cut some parts for the tapered legs. -
