A good friend of mine has a cute, little steel desk, that had fallen on hard times. The drawer started to come apart, and the hardware was also in very poor condition and not working anymore. She asked me if I could take a look at it, and restore the little desk to be fully functional again. It was a nice little project! here are the pictures!

The design of the desk is very very decorative, but poorly executed with big gaps.
The hardware is old and in bad shape.
I replaced it with full extension ball bearing slides.
Spacer blocks help me to weld the slides into the right spot on the drawer.
