Yesterday evening I received a call from a local cabinet shop for an appointment this morning. The company is expanding and planning to extend their building. In preperation for this change, some big pieces of equipment have to be moved. After meeting with the Production Manager Scott, I went to work! Luckily I had all the materials at the shop to turn this around quickly. Come Monday morning, I will drop the stand off at their location, and they will be thrilled to have it that fast, because the electrician is only available until Tuesday or Wednesday. I love little projects like this! Here are the pictures!
Aftre I got back from the meeting, I started to cut the parts right away. Scott had some leveler legs he wanted me to use.
Capping off the ends of the base tubes.
Drilling the base tubes for the welding nuts.
Fits like a glove!
Welding nuts and leveler legs in place!
Welding the main frame. I love my welding table! Have I mentioned that before?
Spacers to hold everything deimensionally in place.
Welding the base tubes to the main frame.
The clamps hold everything nice and square!
Welding the outside joints.
Finish welding the inside corners.
Here is a close up!
Scott wanted a little gusset added on one side of the frame.
