After getting some shelf support brackets done, I was able to get back to working on the little furniture feet. They were cut from 1 1/4″ square tubing, and I had all the holes drillen and countersunk. Today I was able to go through the rest of the process to get them all done. Here are some pictures!
This is were I had to stop two days ago. All cut and drilled!
I had to remove the burr on the inside of the legs after drilling.
My little pneumatic belt grinder came in handy to get inside the tubing.
Here the same piece after grinding.
I cut all the base plates, and this time with the holes, after making sure they would fit nicely.
I used the same jig and a piece of 3/4″ square tube to drive the base plates into the legs to the right height.
All base plates in place and ready for welding.
Tried something new to hold the pieces in place for welding.
All welded and ready to go!
Into the box for delivery to the powder coating company,
All nicely put on a pallet to fit in my VW GOLF by JIT Powder Coating in Farmington, for pick up and delivery to the store fixture manufacturer!
Finished textured powder coating! Customer is very happy!!
