This is the first little project for a new client and a great opportunity to potentially enstablish a new relationship. I’ve been asked to fabricate some very simple and clean looking mounting brackets for a handrail in a contemporary home. The pictures show the process of making them!
The brackest are cut from 3/8″ mild steel on my CNC plasma table.
All the edges have to be sanded clean and square on my belt grinder.
All the brackets after grinding.
Drilling all the mounting plates after cutting.
These are all the components of the handrail brackets.
Getting set to weld all the top plates to the brackets.
A close up after welding
The fixtures ensure all is square and lines up consistently.
